Agile Robots (Shenzhen), Vision Algorithm Engineer — Jul. 2024 – Present
- AI-based visual perception for industrial applications: develop and deliver image recognition, object detection, and instance segmentation models through the full production pipeline; these capabilities are now applied in real production.
- Built an intelligent data annotation pipeline based on SAM2/SAM3 models, reducing manual annotation cost by 75% on detection and segmentation data.
- Deployed vision models to edge devices via ONNX, reducing average inference latency by 24% in industrial software.
- Designed and built a PICO-based teleoperation data acquisition platform, now in actual use by the team.
- Fine-tuned VLA (Vision-Language-Action) models on real-robot data collected in task-specific scenarios, deployed them on the real robot, narrowing the sim2real gap and improving performance by 21% over direct deployment.
